I was just a kitten when we first met, I curled up by your side. You brought me home with gentle hands, And love you never tried to hide. We shared quiet moments and playful days, Soft purrs and warm sunbeams. You gave me peace, a cozy life, A home beyond my dreams. My whiskers twitched, my eyes grew old, The time had come to rest. But know I left with love so full, A heart completely blessed. I know how much you miss me, I see the tears that pour, I feel your footsteps echo When I'm not waiting at the door.
